Unless you use Windows 10 LTSC or pay Extented Security Update (ESU), your Windows 10 will receive last update on October 2025. So if your device is connected to internet and used for various purpose, you could put your Bitcoin and data at risk.
That is utterly ridiculous to be honest. "The last version of Windows" is now becoming unsupported, and even worse, Windows 11 refuses to work on a ton of perfectly good hardware.
I might consider flashing Linux on any Windows 10 computers I buy from here on out.
It's will be 10+ years from the original release of Windows 10.
Most linux versions will do about the same amount of time for support and updates.
And yes Windows 11 does have some strict hardware requirements. But, even the latest release of 11 will run on hardware that is 8+ years old.
So it's not the worst.
