it has been around for a long time and it is trusted. you can accept bitcoin through this service and i believe they have an option for you to receive either bitcoin or fiat of your choosing.

If your transaction volume is not that high than you can simply use payment plugin provided by bitpay.com to accept bitcoin and coinpayments to accept multiple altcoins.

If I were you, I would try to find a local payment processor service with a huge merchant network and see if they accept Bitcoin. I have found a

good one in my country and I get the benefit from being listed with some pretty big players in the area. You will get some free exposure to a

wider market, when these consumers look through the list of merchants working through your local payment processor. A friend of mine was

looking for something else and found my site by accident on the list of merchants.

So far Bitpay has been the main player in this. Most big merchants are using it and so far there is no competition yet.

If you want to use bitcoin as a payment gateway, I recommend using bitcoin buying sites. At that, bitcoin always has a higher value than all other sites. Not only that, it is also more convenient when all transactions are in the currency of your country. It is "remitano.com". Do not miss such a site. I used it for a long time and ensured its prestige.

Thanks for the feedback because of your recommendations I am evaluating bitpay now and getting my programmers to look at the API to integrate.

How would you normally price things , charge in USD and then the payment is converted frm btc to the USD value or just charge plain BTC ?

What i am selling is mostly services which my cost is a sunken cost with minimal operating expenses. Just need to monetise on it. But would just like to get your views on which method would you use.

It's super simple though, and we're sure you won't have any issues with it

We have implemented a bunch of features that make us way cooler than other processors. For example, we offer the option of extending your invoice expiration time, you can automatically accept underpaid orders up to a certain threshold, and our invoices have an integrated refund form for user payments that go wrong.

We now accept not only Bitcoin but also Altcoins via ShapeShift, and our one and only fee is 1% of the paid orders processed.

depends on which coins you want to accept but if you can live with btc, doge, ltc, dash + bitcoin cash then I highly suggest crypto woo plugin for woo commerce with the HD wallet sub-plugin.  This will independently allow you to accept + process your bitcoin payments with zero 3rd parties having access to your sales $ or taking a % of your revenue.

it also has shapeshifter built in to do customer-facing shape shifts from their coin to the coins I listed above.
