Indian Premier League has helped by giving young players chance to get better. But other types of cricket like one day games and Test matches are not as strong. They could stop playing one day games or make Test matches shorter. This could help them make more money and have stronger future.

At that time, Indian International cricket team is at tge top because that team has top quality players which are giving effort in all matches. Indian selectors have multiple options and they don't know what to do next .  Australia International cricket team lost the match against Sri Lanka International team and that kind of performance should not be from Australia team because Sri Lankan team is not big team because players are young and have no experience. Indian team won the ODI series against England team which us big achievement by Indian team and we thought that could be difficult for India to win this series but Indian team won easily this series by 3-0.

But in Test Cricket Australia still on top. I know that Srilanka team has won from Australia but you didn't see what Australian team did in Test series. By the way I still like Australian team. There is no competition between the Australian team and the Sri Lanka team and that is the reason we see one sided matches between them. Australia won the 2 match test series very comfortably. First test was one by an innings and over 200 runs and the 2nd test was also won by 9 wickets. This clearly shows the dominance of the Australian cricket team over the Sri Lankan team. Australia made too big innings in both the test matches. They scored 654 runs in the first test match in an innings and 414 in the second test match.

Your statement is still not entirely correct, because we saw that South Africa qualified for the Test Championship for the first time this year. Maybe they were able to achieve such a feat after winning the Test series against Pakistan.

Aussies taking cricket on top level due to their strong domestic setup and all technology which helping their players for increasing their skills and quality.
No other country is currently capable of giving them challenge which is surely big concern right now because difference of quality is increasing even England is now looking below then average while India is having good craze about t20 which helping them in ODI as well but their red-ball future is looking not good.

Australia is currently the strongest team among all the cricket teams due to which it was not difficult for them to play against a strong team like India.  In Australia series against Sri Lanka, Australia did not have any difficulty but Sri Lanka had a lot of difficulty due to which they had to lose this series and they lose all the matches.  Australia's brilliant performance has impressed many people in this series and a lot of bets are placed on it due to which other teams try hard to play against Australia but they are not successful and lose the match.  If Australia can maintain this kind of winning streak over the next few years, other teams will never be able to undermine it.  Australia has no ability to work hard and weaken themselves due to which they do not lose matches and their batsmen also give a big target due to which the opposition team is unable to score runs.

India's biggest disadvantage is their selection policy. There is a lot of nepotism and favoritism among the selectors. Talented test players such as Abhimanyu Easwaran and Karun Nair gets overlooked despite stellar performances in the domestic cricket. On the other hand, nepo-kids gets a permanent slot in the squad irrespective of their form. Also, domestic cricket is another factor. Despite being the richest cricket board, the BCCI has been unsuccessful in improving the quality of domestic 4-day cricket in India.

Yes, you are absolutely right because Indian Cricket board worked hard to improve cricket and they are earning money from the cricket tournaments because billion people are watching match in the India. Australia is very small country as comparison to India but they have talented players and their players are famous all over the World. I have posted about this before as well. In India, there are too many first-class sides. A total of 38 teams take part in the Ranji Trophy, and this results in dilution of quality. Previously there was a zonal competition, which used to work as a higher-tier tournament. I am not sure what happened, but this tournament has been shelved. And in Ranji Trophy we have too many meaningless competitions. When teams such as Chandigarh and Puducherry play against each other, how can you expect any sort of quality?

BCCI failure to create strong and lasting structure is a concern.even though they have necessary resources and expertise. Ongoing discussions about selectors and selections show that improvements are needed. While BCCI has done well in T20 cricket they need to balance this with prioritizing Test format. Working with regional associations could help achieve this increase revenue and build strong domestic setup. BCCI also needs to revitalize Ranji Trophy by improving tournament quality and ground conditions. This would attract sponsors and fans increasing revenue for BCCI and its regional partners. By fixing these issues BCCI can create more stable and successful cricket system in India.

Western Australia still managed to score 197 runs which is due to Jackson Bird good bowling which got him three wickets. New South Wales did not start well with Sam Konstas and Nic Maddinson only scoring eight runs together and they lost another wicket for just 15 runs. New South Wales was behind by 179 runs at the end of  first day but game is not over yet and we have to wait and see what happens next.

Western Australia's batting was extraordinary in the second innings. In the first innings, they could hardly bat. The whole team was out for 196 runs. However, in the 2nd innings, they made 209 runs and lost only two wickets. Two set batsmen are already on the wicket. Hilton Cartwright have made 108  runs not out while Cameron Bancroft made 85 runs and these both batsmen are still batting. At the end of the first innings, we thought that Western Australia was struggling but now they seem to be in the driving seat. They are leading by 144 runs.

Durham tour of Zimbabwe 2025

I am not sure if anyone is following the match between Durham And Zimbabwe A team. Surprisingly Durham is playing a better game against the Zimbabwe. They have made 113 and lost only two wickets at lunch on Day 01. Emilio Gay was out early but after that Will Rhodes had a good partnership with the captain Alex Lees. They both put on around 50 runs before the captain was also dismissed. Anyhow Ollie Robinson also has his eye in, playing at 20 runs. It seems like Durham will get a decent total in this innings. Remember the match is being played at Harare, Zimbabwe so the Zimbabwe team should perform at least in their home town.
