The song "My Girl" was originally written as an anthem for pedophiles. This sort of thing would not be tolerated today, the troll police would make sure anyone who sang it was called out as the pedophiles they are. OMFG go take your meds. How do you get pedophilia out of this? (censored) Who the fuck let out the insane asylum? a non-work safe warning would be good... I almost got fired when my boss read that!

Well, my grandma also says something like "that girl" where "girl" means an old woman about 70 or 80 years old. I also call all "about my age friends" as "boy", I'm 33 so that "boy" may mean anyone from +/- 25 to 40. And I'm straight, so it's not a gay thing, it's just a matter of socialization. Actually the last one I met which did not want to be called "girl" but "woman" was an 18 year old girl... Oh cool, I didn't know Bruce was 80 years old. He's aged well

Made $500k from stealing a bitcoin wallet also, $10 in speculation at the time when prices were like $1-2

Why, yes, I will buy this piece of property with a lava pool in the back yard! Excellent analogy, good sir.

First they came for the trolls, and I did not speak out because I wasn't a troll.
Then they came for somethingawful, and I did not speak out because I wasn't a goon.
Then they came for LulzSec, and I did not speak out because I wasn't an anon.
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Alternatively, you can just ignore bitcoin, because it's very good at destroying itself.

That's quite ironic, because Bitcoin is supposed to be an unregulated currency.
its not ironic cus this forum is not a currency i cant trade my posts for stuff Oh really? I was about to offer 1 BTC for this thread, but I guess I will take my business elsewhere now.

I'm posting this from my spare account because I don't want to be hated by the other early miners...
I'm selling my 50k BTC in staggered amounts starting from tonight, and hopefully my impact on the market will be limited.
It's just not worth sitting on this kind of uncertainty anymore.

It will be a pyramid scheme until a certain theoretical point where it reaches a level of implementation where it's widely accepted and liquid enough for people to actually use it.
Right now it's just like any share out there that you might by at an excahnge, except a few vendors glorify it by accepting payments. When trading volume from people buying into BTC is exceeded by actual commerce, I say it's not a pyramid scheme anymore. Arbitrary, I know.

At this rate you'll have to start abandon currencies and look to less conventional milestones... I'm looking forward to when 1 BTC buys you a big mac, personally.

So what does it mean when a transaction blip on the bitcoin monitor is explained by two smaller amounts in brackets? I thought it'd be quite obvious it indicated the transaction fee, but I'm obviously missing something...
|
|
|
They've all got a transaction fee attached to them, so I'm guessing somebody is trying to flood the network with transactions that will be prioritised to slow it down for the rest of us...
EDIT: He's losing 0.03 for every transaction, and the last transaction was at about 40 BTC, so only 1333 transactions to go.
